STATEMENT

MISSION

Through the delicate balance of the creative process, I craft lively visuals that are both sophisticated and unexpectedly playful. I transform the mundane into compelling narratives with my distinct perspective because I find genuine value in attention to what others might dismiss- that old top in your closet has a story worth telling.

I find value in meaningful beauty. A professor once told me during a critique, “it's like you want the whole world to have your own spin on it,” and I think that sums me up perfectly. I aspire to take all that I love and am inspired by and apply it to everything I create. Most of my creative inspiration comes from gratitude. Finding value in everyday things that many of us might overlook- the white t-shirt in the back of the closet, the couch that holds you and all your loved ones, the lemon squeezer when you have a papercut on your finger. Anything can be something if you give it love. Humans gravitate towards intentionality, so it is at the heart of my mission to deliver what is authentically true to me. I believe that you can get to know me through my art. I’m fun and carefree but also detail-oriented and sophisticated. It is a delicate balance of who I am, and I think that is important in creating art that strikes emotion and inspiration in others.

  • Reactive Navigation: Mastering how to identify and work through blocks in my creative process

  • Burnout Awareness: Recognizing when my creative energy needs replenishing before it's depleted

  • Confidence Cultivation: Working through moments of self-doubt that can interrupt my creative flow

  • Project Boundaries: Developing the discipline to be selective with opportunities despite my enthusiasm.

  • Saying no during the creative process is essential for a clear and concise message.

  • External Input: Learning to ask for help and expanding beyond my independent approach. I can work in teams very effectively, but when I am given an independent project, I am still working on being able to ask for input.
